Changing faction, is it possible?

Hello

Let's say that I want to play as a dwarf but my friends are from opossing facion, is there any way to play with them?

I found some info on wiki but I don't know how it really works:

Players wishing to change faction can do this by using a special window in the interface, called the "Nation Window" and by clicking on "Immigrate". However, the final decision on accepting the player to join a faction remains for the Sovereign of the Nation to decide. However, the system does not allow dual citizenship, and also you can't change the faction by being a pirate.

I belive its for when a guild creates their own nation and another player wants to move into it without losing their points by leaving their own guild

theres not that many servers have a player created nation + the item isn't cheap so its gonna be awhile before someone tests it I think

but if you deadset on not rerolling your character, the only way I think you can play with them is either A) you all go pirate or B) you all join a guild created nation

plus you'll have to get their faction Dialect up if you even want to talk to them
