I just got the game for less than $2 in the Steam sale, I was wondering the same thing, I've been playing against AI so far, but surely there are other people that play it

Not many and you would do well to find enough in your time zone. There's probably enough but so many time zones different.

yeah i just got the game too, the thing is i played this during the beta and it was so fun to play it with other people during the beta so i was hoping to get the same experience but sadly after waiting for a lobby for about half an hour i couldn't find anyone to play with....

The online server may not even be still up since they don't really support it anymore or talk in the forums. They give you a button for multiplayer server but does it really work or is it really there?

In this game you need to find group of people to play with rather than trying to find somebody in lobby. You can add me if you want. I have big enough friend list with people who played this before and may be willing to play again.

Load into the Lobby with Any, Any, Any and you'll probably get a game. But, it will be a boring game and the person could be a griefer without time settings on their turn as some will just leave a game running and walk away.

Well this is steam and steam is mainstream. Random lobby match making puts you to play with racist ignorant, griefers, trolls and other type of hateful people even if you don’t want to play with them. It is common problem in all random lobby games and matchmaking games and MMO that use random lobby system.

Yep, thas why I said it so to inform those that don't know. I personally don't play online since Age of Empire days when griefers ruined games hacking in tanks and police cars that were not part of the game. If anything I hate it's griefers. Even I don't do that. :))

I guess you could put in 3 minutes or 1 minute turns and see if anything turns up and leave the other two any and that would at least stop the timer griefers.

I've tried that though and got no one so I guess all that are left are griefers sitting in the lobby waiting for someone to grief panting frothing at the mouth ready to pounce. :))
