Solo play possible?
Are you able to play this game offline solo or with AI bots?

Yes, but it's pretty boring and just random die rolls determine the winner. If you take the RED guy you'll win the majority of the time if not all the time if you are good at picking the correct die that's clear as a bell what choice you should make. It's just a time wasting game. Not worth the print of the disc.

Well, yes. Playing as Geralt is the easiest - for a certain value of easiest - because he can handle trouble (monster trouble at least) even without drawing all that many developmewnt cards. Especially in a short/middle lenght game, he is likely to turn out the winner. Triss and Yarpen comes next and are slighty more complicated to use and takes some more time getting used to but have their own strenghts and can be just as powerful as Geralt at their best. Dandelion comes 'last' in terms of which ones is easiest to play and which one has the best shot at victory in a short to middle game. He's also the one most likely to need almost all or even all of his development cards to have decent shot at winning. He's pretty weak early in the game, but later in the game, with all of his development cards and if played right, he has as much of a shot at victory as any of the others... In a solo game/game against the computer, that's it...

It's a solo computer rolls the dice and determines who wins and loses.

Yarpen have most tactical flexibility but you have to know how to use companion properly to get all out of him. Triss is best character avoiding poor fate card drawing. Both are fairly powerful in combat if they have proper development cards but they cant spam battles and win them as much as Gerald especially in early in the game.

My opinion is that dandelion is hardest to play character when playing dandelion you really have to pick your battles but with proper preparation and development cards you always have 100% chance to win when you fight. But you cannot fight as often as other characters. Dandelion gets most out of combat bonuses and chance to get extra VC out of combat.

If you were to rank them all, Dandelion is the hardest to use, then probably Yarpen, Geralt, Triss. I just got done in a very competitive match last night where I was forced to use Triss...I can't tell you how much bad luck I had, lost tons of development cards, vp, foul fates and injuries yet still won. She simply has so many cards that can help her win even if you suffer alot of loss (cards like divination, magic tome, teleportation).

For Dandelion to be at his best you really need multiple people to play with. A 1v1 scenario he is extremely hard to use and keep up with the other player (unless that other player is not an AI and also sucks). I've found the best strategy with Dandelion is to try and complete support quests while having epic ballad drawn and then focus on defense rolls for monsters. This helps you gain a 6:3 gain when you complete and 6:4 vp gain when someone else completes your support quest.

lol he ^^^ used the word "strategy" lol there is NO strategy to this game it iis all luck and RNG.

Strategy (from Greek στρατηγία stratēgia, "art of troop leader; office of general, command, generalship"[1]) is a high level plan to achieve one or more goals under conditions of uncertainty.

I think pulling it up from Wikipedia is low-brow enough for you. Perhaps you don't understand what "conditions of uncertainty" means though.

Best of luck on your grasp of the fundamentals of English though! :emofdr:

Wikipedia hahahah what a laugh and joke those things aren't the dictionary or encyclopedia they are made up by people with their own ideas of what things mean. lol Wikipedia I have to BAW HAW HAW over that one.

You're a simpleton like the rest of them if you think Wikipedias are the answer lol

Oh and your name fits your answers lol

Have to agree with Slayah, you are about as dumb as a wikipedia if you take them for total truth.

Precisely why I chose it. Wikipedia should have been perfect for the low-amount of brain cells you have left operating in that brain of yours. Alas, woe is me, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can't even understand when he is being insulted. Should I walk you through it all or do you think you can figure it out?

There is optimum way of playing game in every game even those that have the randomness part of them. Every tabletop game is just mathematical problem and you can calculate best way of playing it with probability mathematical analyze and gaming theory.

People who dont see this it is not away from me I beat them and they dont need to even understand why. If some people want to beleve their god like simple explanations it is not away from me I just win them more easily.
