#KILLALLZOMBIES is a decent game, but it is overall lacking in content. The graphics are decent, but nothing spectacular. The game is also missing any sort of story, leaving the player to simply shoot and survive. The multiplayer mode is great with the Twitch integration, but the singleplayer mode feels a bit overlooked. The repetitive sounds can also be a bit off-putting after a while.

The game does have some strong points, including the graphics, the multiplayer mode with Twitch integration, and the Steam Trading Cards & Achievements. These are all great features, and make the game a lot more enjoyable.

However, the biggest problem with #KILLALLZOMBIES is its poor optimization. It often crashed during my playtime, and my GPU overheated and shut down my system once. This is a major issue and really brings down the overall quality of the game.

Overall, #KILLALLZOMBIES is a decent game, but its poor optimization and lack of content really bring down the overall experience. It is a fun game, and I can see why some people would enjoy it, but it is not something I would recommend to everyone.

#KILLALLZOMBIES is a 3D top-down shooting title which is best played in one of its well fleshed out multiplayer modes. The singleplayer part can be considered more of a tutorial of sorts and you can easily get swarmed by the undead hordes if you’re getting overconfident. From a graphical perspective, the game delivers enough eye candy and the arenas feature a hexagonal pattern which isn’t there just for decorative purposes. The gameplay revolves around surviving the continuous zombie onslaught while also increasing your high score. You can’t get bored by this game easily since it provides a vast arsenal and a perk system which functions like temporary power-ups or instant battlefield relief in the form of various obstacles (terrain manipulation) and special attacks. I admit that while the Twitch integration part is still finicky, #KILLALLZOMBIES has no game-breaking bugs. Taking into consideration the presence of both Achievements and Trading Cards, I’d say the game is well worth its price tag.

As a game, #killallzombies is pretty good. It's a fun little twin stick shooter with lots of satisfying things to explode and hordes of zombies to reduce to giblets. The learning curve was a lot steeper than I expected, particularly as far as the bosses are concerned, but the more I played it and got the hang of it, the more I found myself really enjoying it.

Then it crashed. The engine itself crashed a lot. Then, in the middle of my best game yet, my GPU overheated and the entire system shut down. As it turns out, as software in general, #killallzombies is garbage. It's poorly-optimized, causing fatal errors when the GPU overheats and the entire system shuts down. I was quick to blame my own hardware, but a glance at the game's Discussions page reveals that a lot of people are encountering this problem. I would just turn down the graphical settings or reduce the resolution, but there's no options for that. In fact, there are an utter lack of options for anything having to do with this game that isn't Twitch-related, which sucks, because I also really wanted to change the control scheme.

#killallzombies fails to earn a recommendation not because it's a bad game, but because it unfortunately just doesn't work. Which is really a shame, because it would have been an easy thumbs-up otherwise. Hopefully the developer can get as firm a grasp on programming as he has on game design and redeem this utter waste of potential.

When you play co-op for some reason the developers decided it was a great idea to share the same health bar as your partner....So when you die your partner dies. Worst idea ever

To be honest, I wasn't waiting anything from this game because I saw it in discounts and I said " yeah, why not" and I bought it. But I realized, playing this game while listening songs is so good. I mean I don't know how did I play this game like 8 hours xd. Anyway, long story short...I can recommend this game because the game definitely worth this price.

I LOVE this game,
but it is seriously BROKEN.

I love the top down twin stick style action,
the gun selection, the time factor to unlock things, the temporary and permanent perks,
the difficulty involved in the game,
even the potential for quick deaths/game-over at any second just add to the game intensity for me.

Beatshapers did an ALMOST PERFECT JOB on this game when I want some mindless, intense action to fill anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple hours of the day.

It's so fun and cheap, (especially on sale)

If you add up every Steam, PS4, PS3, Vita, etc etc accounts.....

so, what's BROKEN?

The game freezes/crashes randomly,
somewhere between 45 minutes, and an hour or so into the Vault Defense mode it suddenly freezes and ends.

It happens on any game system,
any spec PC, anything you play it on will suddenly crash somewhere around the 1 hour mark or sooner.

I think the software is somehow overwhelmed by all the action on the screen at the same time,
so I've tried playing it using no perks at all,
minimal turrets,
no crazy weapons beyond the M60, every way possible to delay the crash,
but it always ends in a crash if you keep playing long enough.

Keep in mind,
there are no game saves with Killallzombies,
if you die or the game crashes and you have to start the game over.

If you went past 55 minutes and unlocked almost all of the guns, a game crash will erase all progress from that session,
and the guns you unlocked aren't unlocked as they normally would be when you play next time.


If they added game saves,
you could go back to a game save and potentially have a work-around,
but Beatshapers said they are looking towards the future and no longer working on this game
(I hope they change their minds!) so that doesn't look like it will happen.

So,
if you're playing this game, and the first time you get past 55 minutes in Vault Defense,
let your guy die.

That way you'll have every gun unlocked up till the Pipyakagun.
I forget what time the Plasma Gun unlocks but it will crash 99% of the time before then and you'll lose all the new unlocks from that session.
I have never had the game get to the Spread Gun unlock before crashing.

You can get far enough in the game to use the Spread Gun, but it will crash before you can permanently unlock it.

Also, they list a Tesla Gun, and a Razorgun under weapons, but I don't know if they ever actually appear in the game,
I've never seen either of them.

So it's worth buying for $4.99 regular price,
especially worth it when it goes on sale for a tiny percentage of the $5,
but be ready for it to crash just when it's getting crazy-good.

Game is pretty much impossible and if I'd paid more than 35p for it I'd be annoyed but I didn't so I'm not.

Probably easier than i think, I just suck - definitely easier with friends, of which I have none.
