The Haunted Palace woes

I get killed even on level 1 with the things that look like white rhinos or bulls. I die immediately. After I have been killed by the same bull several times, I am able to kill him. I am level 50 and well armed. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Tuskhorns are hard-hitters indeed, but they don't usually one-shot-kill you unless you have a very small amount of health, and especially not at your current level.

Are you playing in legend mode?

Try casting Blindness on them and Spectral Armor on yourself to maximize the chance of dodging their attacks.

Thank you. I am at 72 vitality and 209 strength. I am playing at Renowned VI and I think it's a Page. I imported my character from the original Fate. Thank you for your help!

this is pretty normal if you are just doing the story and not deep delving much at all. The only way to really get by at this point would be getting enchanted gear with % damage reduction, try for around 75% total across your gear, and try for +life or life %. The boars can hit up to around 1000 damage if you have no damage reduction.

Thank you! This is helpful. I took some time off to run thru 30 levels of Crypt of Fire to boost my performance and equipment. I'll try Haunted Palace later when I'm more capable. I appreciate your help!
