Master Enchanter is granted when you enchant, or at least attempt to enchant, every piece of gear on your person. There's a cheap trick to do this too if you're poor. Save the game, attempt to enchant, window out, task master, close the game, and then reload the game. Rinse/repeat for each item until you have the achievement.
On Duty is granted when you complete an amount of quests asked by the townspeople. The total number is 10 completed quests.
Friends for Life is granted when your pet reaches a certain level. Not sure of the level as my pet was pretty high level already. Edit: It's possible this achievement triggers due to amount of time spent with the pet as well.
Dungeon Raiders is earned when you hire four mercenaries. These can be expensive, and you must drop one if you don't have enough room, but you can use the windowing out workaround if you're short on cash. Please note if you do this achievement, you will NOT be able to get the Lone Wolf achievement. You must create or reload another character to get both Dungeon Raiders and Lone Wolf achievements.
The Immortal is given when you kill the three main bosses in each respective dungeon. For example, once you kill the fire boss on level 30 of the Fire Caverns, you'll get 1/3 of the achievement. Not 100% sure, but don't die to these bosses or it may not take.
Big Time Hunter is granted when you kill the highest rank of a specific species in the dungeons. For example, you must find and kill an Orc Veteran for this to take. Only the first kill from that species will count, but named mobs can also be included. Your best bet is to hunt in the Ekbatan dungeon which opens after you complete the main questline.
Gem Greedy is gained when you extract a gem from an item. You must do this ten times from the merchant who will extract the item. The number of gems doesn't matter. It will still only count as one.
Lone Wolf is gained when you play the game and never recruit mecenaries. You must also retire. As mentioned above, this means you will have to play the game with two characters to get this achievement and Dunegon Raiders.
Dungeon Master is by far the hardest. To get this achievement, you must map out all three of the main storyline dungeons until you reach that dungeon's main boss. I strongly recommend using the Map Reveal Spell. The second part of this is that you must kill every, single mob on the map as well. If you descend to the next level, and leave even one mob on the map alive, the achievement will not take and you must try again with a new character. If you die at any point, the achievement will not take, and you must again try with another character. And you CANNOT return to town until that level is cleared. If you return to town, and any mob is still alive on that level, the achievement will not take.
And there is no absolute way of knowing if you've left a mob alive on a level. So that one stray wandering monster can deny all your efforts.
Yes, the Dungeon Master achievement is absolute hell.
Hope this helps someone out there.
Edit: Answer to Gem Greedy below. Solved.
For Dungeon Master I have mapped each dungeon up to and below level thirty. Killed every mob in each level as far as I know. Again, nothing counted.
I can only assume Lone Wolf counts when you kill a specific mob. Soloed, without mercenaries, every dungeon in a speed run and completed the main quest. Again . . . nothing.
Any help or hint toward these three achievements would be appreciated.
Dungeon Master sounds like beating all dungeon and bosses to a certain level (below 60 I guess) or so.
Lone Wolf sounds kind of tricky. The most acceptable theory is what you did there but if nothing happened, then you need to do something else. No idea what.
I prefer the "retail" version of this game (no steam) because it supports mods :) that way you can fix almost any bug/glitch. However, achievements don't exist there.
Nothing.
Again, starting to think these achievements are bugged, but thank you for trying.
About to give up and move onto another game. Will do so after I hit level 100. If it still doesn't take, that'll be that. :(
Edit: Level 101 and nothing. Will test one more thing, and then I'm done.
Regardless, am getting my last achievement with Hunter in the fourth dungeon and that'll be that. If anyone ever figures out what's going on with the last three achievements, I'd appreciate it.
But, otherwise, I'm moving on.
Too bad. Wildtangent is no longer making any effort to keep the Fate community alive (beside user created fansites) and Steam is just another absent distributor.
The Fate series is old already but I'm still making mods for it though... nostalgia is stronger :)
I hope you find a better game/place to share information, achievements and tips. I think I still have time to stay here :)

Confirmed! Reloaded the game and tested this. Yes, you get the Gem Greedy Achievement if you extract gems from an item. The number of gems doesn't seem to matter. You must simply extract gems from the merchant ten times.
Thank you!
Still no clue how to get Dungeon Master.
Confirmed. Powered a new character through and got the achievement once I retired. Thank you!
Will update the thread again.
This is a tricky one as one small miss and have to do it all over again..
