what gear bonuses work on pets?

I'm assuming stuff like +axe skill are useless but what about +critical hit skill?
which bonuses actually apply for pets?
is +magic and faster cast useless, or does it apply for some transofrmations where pet becomes a spellcaster? if so which ones

Crits seems to work all the time, magic and caster related only apply if the pet becomes a caster. Health regen works slowly so...pet runs away heals up a bit then runs back into the fight (repeat).

Pets can only wear jewelry. Therefore, strength, dexterity and vitality are of minimum relevance. Magic, as well as weapons and armor improvements, are irrelevant because pets can’t use any of them. My tier ranking of attributes enhancers that believe matter the most for pets are as follows:

Most important: Life bonus, attack bonus, defense bonus and damage dealt.

Very important: Damage taken reduce, HP recovery, life stolen per hit and damage reflected.

Somewhat important: Strength, dexterity, vitality, chance of blocking, shield battle skill bonus back and knock back.

Not important, but relevant: Stamina, movement speed bonus, attack speed bonus, more gold dropped by enemies and chance of finding magical items.

Irrelevant: All things magic, reduced idem requirements, as well as weapons and armor improvements.

Pets can never be casters in this game.

I know this is a late reply but this is for anyone who comes across this, if you feed your pet a spell and they have the magic required to cast it they can and will use it.
