Setting up a Playstation 3 Controller:
I was able to get the game to recognize my PS3 controller using the instructions on the following page:

How many controllers will this game support? I'm hoping more than 4, I think this would be epic with 6 or even 8 players!

It's exactly the same as the Xbox and Ouya version.

Just in case, I can confirm that the Xbox One controller works fine with Microsoft's provided drivers.

Can one keyboard and one xbox controller work with this game?

Sorry, no. The game relies on being able to move in any random direction (not just up/down/left/right/diagonals), and only supports Xbox compatible controllers for now.

I may add keyboard support in the future.

There is probably some way to emulate a controller with a keyboard? Map keys to a virtual Xbox controller?

Hi there first sorry for my poor english, I have only one of my controller (the logitec one) who is reconize by the game the others one (speedlink) are not :-(

I have a genius controller (maxfire g-12u) which works perfectly with other games like castle crashers, but the game doesn't recognise it :/
It also would be nice to be able to play with the keyboard. I don't have 2 joysticks and I want to play it casually with people coming to my house, because it's a great game for that.

I figured out how to use the keyboard to play (press 1, no hints anywhere, randomly discovered it). But still, my genius controller isn't detected.

To anyone with the same problem: I was able to make my joystick work using this tool: https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce (32bits version, because the game is in 32bits, it doesn't depend on your OS but on the game binaries).
Some important things to notice:
1) Follow the instructions on the app page regarding its installation
2) After you configure the joystick and close the configuration app, go to the task manager, to the "details" tab, and kill the process with name "x360ce". Otherwise the game won't be able to start (it will freeze in a black screen).
3) Also, after closing the game, go to that same tab and kill the game process (which for some reason stays alive after being closed...), otherwise you won't be able to open the configuration app or the game again.
