One of my all-time favorite game series has always been Assassin's Creed. That said, my enthusiasm took a hit recently ... I found Valhalla to be pretty terrible. However, I finally decided to give Mirage a shot, and I’m glad I did. It’s definitely a step back in the right direction.

The gameplay and story were more in line with what I expect from the series – not quite top tier, but enjoyable nonetheless. The game is significantly shorter than Valhalla, which I actually appreciated. Also, the setting (Baghdad) was much more compelling than Valhalla’s dull and empty English countryside.

Required time: 20-25 hours
Difficulty (in my opinion): 3 out of 10
DLCs required for 100%?: No

As for the achievements: they're very straightforward. Play through the full story, fully explore all areas, complete a few side quests to reach max level and upgrade your gear, and then take care of some combat-related tasks and general mechanic use (e.g., stealth, tools, etc.). Nothing too surprising here.

There’s only one semi-missable achievement: pickpocketing a key from a guard after hitting them with a blowdart. As long as you're aware of it, you should be fine.

Great game! only thing i disliked was the movement. It felt like Basim was sticky and demanded to be on walls and roofs. descending off of buildings also felt poor. but other than that i would say this was a amazing game with great story. i'm compelled to keep playing after finishing its campaign!
