Are there more patches coming; specifically for getting stuck in hiding places?

The consistent "getting stuck in bales of hay" or "closet" hiding spaces where, you hide, but then you can't get out, is getting annoying. Is there any verbiage that speaks to this issue and that it's being worked on?

Thank you for kindly reaching out, sorry to hear that you sometimes get stuck in hiding places.

Can I check where exactly this has happened and any reproduction steps?

Would it also be possible to share a video with us as this will help us further investigate.

In the meantime, to rule out some common causes would it be possible to please try the following steps?

• Install Ubisoft Connect and the game on the same drive as your OS
• End unnecessary background processes via Task Manager

Thanks for the suggestions. I have Ubisoft Connect installed; and I am very meticulous in regards to minimizing background tasks and I take advantage of using WIndows 11 Gaming Settings to aid in that respect as well. I run very little in the background as is. Graphics settings are set to just "High" rather than ultimate but I do not believe this is a graphics issue. I have no PC issues at all actually, 3080 ti 12 gb vram, 64gb ram, windows 11 pro, cpu coffee lake i7-8700k

Reproduction, anytime hiding in a pile of hay, leaves, or a wagon full of hay at any random moment. It's not a total game breaker unless I am in an enemy zone where Quick Saving is not an option however, because of this issue specifically, I run out to a safe zone to quick save and then back in. But even when I Fast Travel to a waypoint where you can synchronize to that location and then you vault off to free fall down below and it will happen there. And as I mentioned, the "closet like" hiding spaces with little curtains you can dash in behind, or the big ones just like it but usually located at the top on the roof of buildings.

I truly think this is not an isolated incident but rather has something to do with the game engine. I don't record my games but I can and should I be so lucky to experience the issue I would be happy to share. However I have described the issue fairly clearly and you seem to understand so let's go from here.

Okay I was able to produce the issue of getting stuck. I simply walked into a pile of flowers and it happened. This was my 4th pile where each previous one I did not get stuck. So, this is basically it. I can either Fast Travel to get out of it or reload the most recent save.

This is an unusual situation and we have not seen such reports from other players so far.

I see you are using a keyboard and mouse. Did you re-map any in-game controls?
Are you using any software to manage your keyboard functions?

Do you have any other USB devices plugged in, apart from you keyboard and mouse?
A USB hub?

Yes, kb&m. Didn't re-map any in-game controls and no software to manage the keyboard. I will attempt to just re-install the game and see if that works.

I am having this same issue.
PC, kb&m, I don't use a controller. Just started game (10 hours in)
So far have gotten stuck in rooftop closet in enemy area and wagon of hay, also in enemy area. Have recently re-downloaded ubisoft connect. Playing from steam.
Very annoying. Same as above person. minimal background running programs (using same Win11 gaming mode), and I have a upgraded gaming computer, so I know it's not that. Also have graphic settings set at high, but am able to run at ultra.

Yeah this continued to happen to me regardless of trying to work it out with the above developer who was kind enough to try. My solution was to just load the most recent save or checkpoint. Not a total game breaker but annoying for sure.
