I had the same issue and I already have a Ubisoft account for their launcher.

So assuming you have the Ubisoft account for Ubisoft Connect, and I use Nvidia not AMD so I'm not sure what you use.

I launched it from GeForce Experience. Once I did that I have been able to launch it through Steam ever since.

---UPDATE---
After two hours of trying every possible solution I decided to make a clean installation of Windows 11 and now the game works. I don't know what Windows setting was preventing the game from running, but reinstalling Windows fixed it.

---ORIGINAL POST---
Same problem here : (

My specs are Ryzen 7800X3D + RTX4090 + 32GB

I tried all suggested solutions and some weirder ones found on Youtube regarding this same problem, nothing worked. My PC is correctly optimized and updated and I play a ton of new AAA games, I just finished Space Marines 2 and Silent Hill 2 for example. I even played Avatar Steam Version without problems.

Hi Zoolla,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue launching Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:

https://ubi.li/x17TX

However, if the issue persists I would recommend trying each of the following:

- Ensure your game is running on a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated GPU - https://ubi.li/q0hCX
- Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr
- Add the game to the white list of your anti virus software
- Launch the game in Windows compatibility mode if you are using Windows 11 - https://ubi.li/h0VCZ
- Perform a SFC scan - https://ubi.li/gCxN0 (Win 10 & Below) https://ubi.li/OYBuj (Windows 10 & 11)
- Unplug non-essential peripherals (extra monitors, controllers, VR equipment, etc.)
- Reinstall the support software - https://ubi.li/s9Zj3
- Uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstall them on the same drive as your OS - https://ubi.li/cf8hs

If those steps do not help could you please confirm your PC specifications.

I had a problem with several ubisoft games lately not starting, was related to my onedrive syncing my documents folder and all game settings seems to be inside there. Removed that syncing made everything work again and also moving the folders to the normal documents folder

Thank you for sharing it with us, arne.
Yes, OneDrive taking over game files syncing and casing issues as a result has been voiced by some players online. I'm glad to hear disabling it fixed it for you. Enjoy the game.
