Texture flickering - game bug?
Some textures are flickering if i put on very high/ultra/extreme.
Sometimes it even lacks texture.
There's is a solution? I have a RTX 3080, it's more than enough to run this game.

Sadly rolling back to old drivers is no longer a viable fix for me in this issue because of the new Indiana Jones video game. I need to have the latest drivers for that title and constantly switching between old drivers and new drivers just ain't worth all the hassle. So now I'm stuck with the other workaround methods. I'm going to test out the new drivers in Mirage soon though and see if they permanently fixed the bug for me. Hopefully so.

Are you using uncapped FPS or it it limited to 60FPS?
Uncapped FPS,Played 4H today and still no textures issue

@Crazybone92, do let us know, please.

Also, I would advise raising this issue in Nvidia forums separately, so they are aware of the texture issue with some version of GPU drivers.

Sadly the new drivers didn't fix the bug. The new driver seemingly improved the framerate a lot in crowded areas, but the texture flickering issue is still present.

Thanks, Crazybone92, and sorry to hear it.
Is the 60 FPS limit still resolving the issue? Even on the latest drivers?
If yes, let us know, stick to 60FPS, please and I will report it.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I also get flickering textures. The floor texture will randomly flip-flop from the lowest to the highest one. Limiting and lowering the FPS does seem to help but it doesn't fix the issue entirely. Also playing on the latest Nvidia drivers.

Disabling g-sync for game fixed the issue for me.

Update: returned next day. g-sync not the reason.

Yes 60 fps is still working.

Same issue.

4090/13900k; latest NVidia Drivers everything maxed with DLSS Native
Uncapped frame rate is at the root of my issue, as capping to 60/90 fps seems to “resolve” the issue
:bluequestion: I fixed the texture flickering by changing the graphics settings, maybe it will be useful to someone. rtx3070. Settings: Environment: very high; Density of small items: very high; Shadows: very high; Volumetric clouds: very high; Water: very high; Full-screen reflections: on; Environment textures: maximum; Character Textures: high; Depth of field: high; Motion blur: off; Adaptive quality: off; Zoom type: DLSS; Zoom Quality: Quality; Degree of sharpness: 100%. :Gothere:

Same issue sometimes textures do flickering but sometimes it doesn't. Driver updated. 4070 Super. Almost everything is maxed out and fps cap at 144 fps
Ubi-Vinci  [developer] Jan 31 @ 4:18am
Sorry to hear it, MrKoddy.
Please test the game with the FPS limited to 60 or 72 (adaptive - half the refresh rate) if you have a 144Hz monitor.

I think I found a solution, I have to delete cache files in the cache folder and textures don't flicker anymore, for a while, I have to do this again after a session because textures flicker again

Hey MrKoddy,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the solution you seem to have found. Can I ask if you run the game with admin rights [ubi.li] does the changes you make stick?

Many thanks in advance

No admin right for this game, I run through Steam as usual^^ The caches files are located in Documents\Assassin's Creed Mirage
