Texture flickering - game bug?
Some textures are flickering if i put on very high/ultra/extreme.
Sometimes it even lacks texture.
There's is a solution? I have a RTX 3080, it's more than enough to run this game.

Setting the FPS limit at 60 FPS is solving these 2 issues for me.

This fixed it for me aswell!!!

Hello everyone,

Again, sorry to hear it you still experience this issue, even on the latest Nvidia drivers.

I understand 60 FPS is not the ideal way of playing PC games from everyone, but can you all test it and see if this is indeed a workaround for the flickering textures?

Can anyone recall when it started happening?

Driver ver. 566.03

Solved the problem by changing DLSS setting to Quality and putting Frame Limit to 90 in the game setting. No Texture Glitches since. Hope this helps someone else.

that doesn't work for me :Sebastian:

Hello there, I've been experiencing the problem for the past few days (since this infamous driver update). Tried a lot of workarounds found here and on reddit. The only thing that seemed to work for me was deleting cache files in documents > assassin's creed mirage, then start the game, go to settings, switch the Upsample type to anything, switch back to NVIDIA DLSS and restart. Kinda long workaround but it allowed me to play a few hours without the bug. Seems like I have to redo all these steps later when I want to play again tho.

I set Adaptive Quality to off and the flickering stopped using g-synch monitor, v-synch off at 144hz.

Thank you everyone.

I see there is a number of different settings and workarounds that work for some of you and don't for others.

For now, if you know which version of Nvidia drivers worked correctly with Assassin's Creed Mirage, I would advise you to roll back to them.

Please remember to always use Clean install when installing Nvidia drivers. It is available in the advanced installation option, or use a driver uninstaller software.

I also get ground texture flicker. Latest Nvidia driver installed. RTX 4070, all settings maxed.

my game is also sometimes flickering, sometimes artifacts appear, even if I set it to high. I played for 5 hours previously without problems, but now it just crashes after some time even with FPS limit at 60fps.

Thanks for detailed specifications, guys.
Looks like you are both on the latest version of Nvidia drivers.
Perhaps these cause issues.

If you don't need to latest version for any specific reason or title, please try something older.
I would try a couple of versions from a few months back.
I was seeing flickering on the previous driver as well. Just updated to 566.14 4-5 days ago. Did not note which version I came from, but most likely the official newest one before 566.14 (I always keep drivers updated).

I see that this is still an active topic and I'm not sure if there is a resolution yet. I am also experiencing this issue. RTX 3080 driver version 566.14 from Nov 12 2024.

Can confirm that this is happening in non-Steam versions as well. I have the Ubisoft Connect version. Ground textures flicker in my game so badly that they just fail to load completely and turn into a blurry mess. This started after some Nvidia driver updates I think, but not sure.

Oddly, the only thing that is fixing it for me so far is to overclock my gpu so much that the fans start to thermal throttle. This for some reason removes the texture issue completely. But it's not really ideal to fry my GPU just to play this game normally. I hope Ubi or Nvidia does something to this problem.

I have an RTX 2070 Super paired with Ryzen 7 3700x, so my pc should be able to run this game just fine.
