I'm sorry to hear that your game is crashing on launch.
Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:
https://ubi.li/x17TX
However, if the issue persists I would recommend trying each of the following:
- Ensure your game is running on a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated GPU - https://ubi.li/q0hCX
- Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr
- Add the game to the white list of your anti virus software
- Launch the game in Windows compatibility mode if you are using Windows 11 - https://ubi.li/h0VCZ
- Perform a SFC scan - https://ubi.li/gCxN0 (Win 10 & Below) https://ubi.li/OYBuj (Windows 10 & 11)
- Unplug non-essential peripherals (extra monitors, controllers, VR equipment, etc.)
- Reinstall the support software - https://ubi.li/s9Zj3
- Uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstall them on the same drive as your OS - https://ubi.li/cf8hs
If those steps do not help could you please confirm your PC specifications.

Windows 10
After two hours of trying every possible solution I decided to make a clean installation of Windows 11 and now the game works. I don't know what Windows setting was preventing the game from running, but reinstalling Windows fixed it.
---ORIGINAL POST---
Same problem here : (
My specs are Ryzen 7800X3D + RTX4090 + 32GB
I tried all suggested solutions and some weirder ones found on Youtube regarding this same problem, nothing worked. My PC is correctly optimized and updated and I play a ton of new AAA games, I just finished Space Marines 2 and Silent Hill 2 for example. I even played Avatar Steam Version without problems.
Hey Tonykov,
Thank you for sharing this. I'm glad you can now play the game.
What was the version of your Windows before and after the re-installation?
Any chance you had the 24H2 updated via Windows Update but reinstalled the previous 23H2?
I am asking out of curiosity, as we have seen many reports of different games crashing on the latest Windows 11 24H2, also when re-installed from 24H2 ISO image.
If you are running a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 and Assassin's Creed Mirage is not crashing on it, it's good news.
To check your Windows full version build (type WinVer in the Start menu and press Enter).
Hey Technoblaster09,
Thanks for sharing it.
The Intel 6700 series CPUs are quite old now. Make sure please, your motherboard drivers and BIOS are not badly outdated. Do not update the BIOS by yourself if you are not sure how to do it. Ask someone for assistance.
You can check the BIOS date of you open System Information in Windows. Just type "System" in the start menu.
Can you share with us your Windows full version build (type WinVer in the Start menu and press Enter) and details of your CPU and GPU, please?
Please Include the GPU driver version and date, and the game's installation path.
So I shouldn't install version 24H2, right?
Thanks for checking, Tonykov.
I would wait with 24H2 for now, as I will on my private PC.
It's not just Ubisoft games crashing more often on 24H2 but other titles as well.
You can research it online.
Our teams are already aware of it and are investigating the reasons.
If you are one of the user who do not need to have the latest Windows installed ASAP, I would give it a few weeks at least.
