Sorry to hear it you experienced this bug in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Are you using a controller or mouse and keyboard?
If a controller, what model? Is it wired or wireless?
If mouse and keyboard, have you re-mapped standard key-binding layout?
Can you try to record a short video if you manage to find a location where this is fairly easily reproduceable?
It would help us to report it.
Hi, thanks for your response.
I'm using a wireless controller. Specifically an MSI Force GC30 V2, and it's recognised by Windows as an Xbox controller.
Unfortunately, it doesn't depend on the location. It will just happen randomly. It also doesn't happen during every session of play, but when it does happen, it's virtually game-breaking as it means Basim will do one of two things:
1) Constantly switch back and forth between regular (unarmed) stance and armed with throwing knife stance (as if LT is pressed to aim);
2) Throw knives at guards and innocent people while trying to be stealthy.
When either of these things happen, there's nothing I can do to stop it.
I played for 3 hours this morning without experiencing this issue at all, but I will try to record my next session in the hope I can capture the issue.
Yes, it can be a pain, I get it.
Plus, 3h without the issue also makes recording a bit tricky.
Could you test it without the controller perhaps (if possible)?
Just mouse and keyboard, please fully disconnect the controller.
Thanks for your effort and helping us. '
Thanks for your patience with this.
Looks like the issue was controller-related. I've been using a genuine Xbox controller for a few days and not experienced any issues. The problem seems to be resolved.
Thanks for your assistance!
I will lock this thread as resolved now.
