Bad performance?!
I run this game on RTX 4090 and still get lags when running. It seems the game is always loading from SSD. I had the same problem with AC Origins, before some updates.

I have framecap off, DLSS on, ultra settings, 4K, even on low or mid settings i get the same lags.

3060ti 32gb of ram and 7900x here. played it on all high without dlss and got perfect 70 fps that would drop some in intensive areas. not sure why you're hitching or freezing so bad

If you have gaming mouse with high polling rate like 1000 Hz and more it could be the cause of stuttering.
