its like claiming there is a story to the paris dlc in Valhalla, there is but its not good nor is it enough to warrant its own game

there isnt enough lore
and the timelines do NOT match

if this was true, you would understand by playing this after Valhalla that this dlc was again supposed to be EIVOR not basim

so no there really is no story
I eye rolled each time you get a SIN target and the narration went over going
"for so long you have gotten away with XYZ, no more for I am here"
blah blah

just know the only decent writing was dealing with your friend and just before the end of the game.

Mirage is part of Basim's baskstory, as I explained. You can keep on insisting there is no story, but that is factually inaccurate. But by all means, lol. Keep at it. :)

ubisoft has a whole article on it

its backstory, and no and yes
this was never supposed to be what happened.

Again Eivor would have, on paper to this dlc...
came to the real world, jumped into the machine and tried to STOP basim from ever becoming what he was.

this dlc shows him as the opposite of what he is
a villian
he is not a good guy at all and in fact a Templar agent later on in lore
so his backstory isnt in this dlc game
this is just hurry made for the dlc to be removed from valhalla

I actually adore the original lore to this where eivor goes to stop basim from ever screwing with them
I dont want to give away valhallas ending but yeah
thats where this dlc should have picked up, the cabin
it doesnt even show him there, nor with eivor

Its polled as the 2nd worst in AC history, so you are in the minority
doesnt make you wrong to like it, but... def not a game muchless a good one

it sits just under ac liberation as the worst ac game
as both of those titles were originally DLC turned into a game by the same canadian team

I pray that this team doesnt do any work, on the next one

AC syndicate is oddly #1 most liked ac game
its my fav, but then it goes to ac2 bh and rev
no other modern ac game holds candles to the old lore

during ac3 were you on the initiates code site?
it was fun
so much lore there, and you would log in solve puzzles with google maps
locate codes inside images, that ref a place on google maps
find that place and then input that
read so much lore on the ac universe

it was fun

and both of those games are the least liked with no real meat and no real story

with mirage it actually goes against the lore of valhalla and even ac origins oddly

there is a story,
it was just never meant to be
shallow, and doesnt fit in with the ac timeline nor the original concept for valhalla
the writing is just awful
so yes there is a story. Liberation had one too.
Both are not not not, good

if ubi just stuck to the original plan, it would have rocked

Prologue can be skipped when starting NG+.
And it's automatically skipped when dying In permadeath mode if you've already reached Baghdad.

Just a second. You've never played the game, but you're whining about doing the training?????? On NORMAL mode??? I'm over a half-century old and was able to do the training in normal mode. Seriously??? I'm going to publicly shame you for being a certain part of female anatomy. Go back and play the thing on easy mode!! Then turn it to normal. BUT, if you cannot do the training on normal, you will not make it through the rest of the game on normal.

I agree. This is Basim's back-story.

Someone was claiming that they could not play Mirage until they completed Valhalla. In my not-remotely-humble-opinion, this comes first.

This is showing us how Basim became the Hidden One, who goes to Norway. I can believe that it was intended as a DLC originally. It feels as though it will be much shorter than Valhalla was.

I'm not finished with Mirage yet. I own too many games, and have to work to pay for my habit (gaming, which includes my PS5 and a smoking-hot gaming rig, plus all of my games and accessories - plus I need a HUGE monitor/TV for the next apartment - and where is that 4-wall system from Fahrenheit 451? VR ♥♥♥♥ is too expensive. Maybe later. Ugh.).
