Serpents nest book puzzle

Was anyone else frustrated by the book puzzle being right to left. like I get why they did it but I still find it annoying I feel like they should have programmed it to work either way or put some kind of indicator on the poem. I spent at least 30 minutes trying to figure out what i missed.

To the mod that locked my last post. you misunderstood what i wanted. I was trying to have a conversation with other people who played the game. when you locked my conversation others were unable to post on it and i am not able to hear their opinions.
