the game has been out a year. if it was going to be pirated it probably has been by now
but ive never had any problems with denuvo or any other copy protection in games tbh
if you think denuvo is bad then you should have tried lenslok back in the day.
I've experienced all the DRM types and actually own some Denuvo games on Steam. However, my issue is not with Denuvo allegedly affecting performance, which is only a concern with potato hardware... it's more that I don't want to help pay for the DRM on top of paying the developer/publisher. AND I hate that Denuvo means games need to be tied to (and rely on) some server connection (even if occasionally), and especially in a single-player game. Plus, I have enough games to play and can wait until it's removed and for a deep sale.
Denuvo + Ubiturd = Instant Ignore List. Hope this helps you make better decisions Ubisoft.
Actually never mind just gaslight customers and put their interests last, loyal beta consumers first.
Welcome back to Steam, revolutionary industry move!
