Is the story worth it ?

Hello, the lenght of the game and the fact that it is like an old AC interests me but is the story is good ? (I did not play Valhalla).

As it's a less ambitious AC, I don't expect an epic story either but at least a well written story.

It's average, the game is just a solid AC experience.

You'll enjoy the setting, will learn about Abassid era and will not waste time pointlessly.

Don't expect gear or skill tree of any note, nor cosmetics for that matter. The game is all about a relatively easy stealthy assassiny experience while learning more about Bassim of that time.

I'd say it's not worth $50, I'd probably buy it for $25 just to complete the collection though, otherwise $20 or less feels better.

All in all, just a solid AC game. I'd enjoy it a lot more if it wasn't for Roshan's voice.

Story is ok its not like S tier like brotherhood or ac2 but it is in my opinion same tier as Unity

Unity's story is crap. It starts strong and with great potential, but then it dies-out, with 3/4s of the game feeling pretty bland and meaningless.

Of course, everything that's come after Unity has been even worse.

Good to know. I was actually thinking about getting Mirage. But Origins is total sh~t, and is probably the lowest point of the entire series, if Odyssey doesn't take that place. Origins is garbage in gameplay, characters, story, animations, and parkour. It was a total waste of an origin story.

The only way AC can recover is to retcon everything from Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla out, as well as Syndicate and Unity, and start over from the end of Black Flag and Rogue. Elsewise, they're just trying to polish a turd in futility.

I spent countless hours on Odyssey and Valhalla (the latter was a good *game* even if it wasn't a good Assassin's Creed game, if that makes sense). But Mirage... I finished the story and closed the game.

This is the most 'makes sense' post i've read in a while. If valhalla didnt have ''assassins creed'' in its title it would have been a great game. But since it does have AC, we expect AC gameplay and assassin things which it does not have.

As for mirage its exactly what we expect, a main character that is actually an assassin and its in the order .
