Ac Mirage resolution bug need help
Need help fixing the resolution for the game, I can not adjust it in options and changing it in the games directory does not work either. Also cant make the screen stretch to fill the screen even on full screen its just a box in the middle with black bars around it. When I boot it too there's flashing green lights on the top and bottom before it gets to the main menu.

Ive had resolution issues with other ac games before in the past too like origins and odyssey but thought that those issues would be fixed by now but they seem even worse in this game.

Hey MIKE,

Sorry to hear it you are having issues with Assassin's Creed Mirage resolution on your PC.

It will be difficult to advise you anything and look into it, if you don't tell us what resolution it is. I assume, you mean ultrawide.

What resolutions do you get in the game video settings to choose from?

Can you share a screenshot or a short video, please?

Hey MIKE,

Thank you for your update and the image.

Would it be possible to share with us what you have your monitor natively set to? In addition would it be possible to launch the game with admin rights https://ubi.li/9Puyw to ensure the game has the permissions needed to change resolution?

Any trouble, just let us know
MIKE Nov 30, 2024 @ 11:28pm
I tried running it in administrative mode but everything is still locked out when it comes to changing the resolution and screen size. My monitor is naively set to 3840 x 2160.

Thanks, Mike.

I can see now that your 4k 16:9 screen is for some reason recognised incorrectly.
Is the resolution selection locked?
Have you made any changes in the Nvidia control panel? Perhaps set a custom, fixed resolution? Try resetting is to default.

How does the Windows Display option look like? Is the scaling set to 100%?

The game configuration file should be located here:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Assassin's Creed Mirage\

Delete it and launch the game again.
Do you use any external software for display management?

BTW: I moved this thread to the Player Support section.

Problem with Aspect ratio and resolution
I can't change resolution and aspect ratio in the options. Already tried editing the ini-file but it doesn't change. Resolution is stuck at 1920x2160. My custom resolution is 3840x2160.
Alt enter doesn't work.
Drivers are up to date.

Does someone know how to fix this problem?

Same problem here.

My monitor is 3840x2160
The game launches and is stuck at 720x480. Resolution selection is greyed out, My screen looks identical to the one shared above.

Tried all solutions shared here (deleting config file, setting scaling to 100% in Windows display settings, running as administrator,) as well as some other things. Nothing will allow me to change the resolution. Issue is not present with any other games or applications.

Same problem.
My 4k 16:9 monitor is recognised incorrectly as well.
MIKE, it looks like you have the same monitor as me, Predator XB273k GP.
Nothiing I have tried worked so far...

How about switching from fullscreen to borderless mode? It should use your desktop's resolution and refresh rate.

Already tried, but same problem with borderless mode.

Hey schlafgestört,

Thank you for your question.

What do you mean "custom resolution"? Is 3840x2160 your screen's native resolution or do you override it and set a non-native resolution and aspect ratio?

Can you share your screen's brand and model, please?

Hello everyone

I see more players experience this resolution issue.

So far, we have the Predator XB273k GP monitor mentioned.
@nadafinga, what screen do you have?

Out of curiosity, what drivers under Monitors you see in Windows Device Manager?
Is it a Generic PnP Monitor or do your screens use a proprietary drivers?
3840x2160 is my native resolution.
My monitor is Acer Predator XB273K GP.
It is a PnP Monitor

Thanks, schlafgestört.

I merged this thread with the one you have been active before.

This is interesting that two such reports consider the same Acer Predator monitor.

Are there any specific options in its settings that you can check?
Have you gone via the screen's settings menu?

Is it connected via HDMI or Display Port?
If DP, can you test the HDMI connection?
