Should I play this with controller or keyboard and mouse? :-\

I use mouse if there is a lot of aiming like arrows or something, unless the aim assist is really strong. I like controller for the vibrations. Just wondering which control scheme I should use before starting the game :-\

There are ranged weapons including throwing knives but no bow/arrows.
I had no problem playing using Xbox controller. Also did NG+ permadeath run with it.
