Love this game! My Suggestions
Bit about why my suggestions might be decent: I used to make maps for D&D games. I used Azgaar's generator, fractal programs like Wilbur, Illustrator and Photoshop, Wonderdraft. I played grand strategy games, like Europa Universalis, where I paint the map my country's color. I played 4x games, like Distant Worlds 2. I used to be a professional graphic designer.

UI
Overall, a minimalistic approach is best so it's not too cluttered.

* 01 Tabular Dock Panels. It would be great to have resizable-draggable panels that have tabs and docking options (think like putting panels together in a group, like Photoshop). We could customize how the information is displayed.
* 02 UI scaling. Huge announcements are nice, but it would be cool to minimize.

Map
* 01 Resize/move the names of nations, as can be done in Azgaar's.
* 02 Create labels and "assign" them to land features , like inland seas or something. Just for fun. It would be cool to combine this with suggestion Map 03 (below)
* 03 Player-created or computer generated "continents". A continent must have at least 5 provinces. There are defense bonuses for controlling a whole continent.
* 04 Toggle labels in various steps. Hide/show names for cities, provinces, countries, continents, etc. with one button for each.
* 05 RGB Hex color codes! I like the fact that you give us access to the RGB gradient map. You also give us the ability to save our favorite colors in a palette. Having access to copy/paste RGB hex codes will be the cream of the crop.

Colonization
* 01 Allow us to place “settlers” in locations so they may.

Land Travel
* 01 Attrition.

Ocean Travel
* 01 Attrition.
* 02 Add Navy
* 03 Force army launches from port cities.

Land Battle
* 01 Attrition.
* 02 Beach-head attacks should be very difficult. Armies should be able to invade any beach and not have to use a dock, but such attacks should be more than land to land battles.
* 03 Avoid the Worm of Death Don't send the entire country's army after one target (march of the worm of death). When there are world-spanning countries, it leads to this kind of congo line that moves around the world. (see screenshot)

Gameplay
* 01 Slower than 0.5 speed?
* 02 Announcement log Sometimes I miss an announcement. Maybe we can review announcements somewhere?
* 03 Toggle announcements individually. Like turn off "X country conducted mobilization..." but keep war announcements on.
* 04 Limit how many wars a country can initiate Limit how many wars a country can initiate somehow
* 05 War exhaustion Countries get tired of war after long periods and need peace to restore manpower (see below) and reduce war exhaustion.
* 06 Manpower Manpower is needed to create armies. It is depleted after an army is created and restored after a period of peace.
* 07 Cast of Countries This is an editable list of all countries that ever existed. It gives the player the ability to review any country’s stats and edit their features. This will help Rebellions #02.
* 08 In-game hyperlinks to encyclopedia Hyperlink a country's, province's, city's name so that we can click on them and find out where they are when they are mentioned in text. This could also be used in Gameplay #07.

Rebellions
* 01 New country design prompt. Prompt player to create new nation after successful rebellion. Pause the game and allow the naming and customization of the new country.
* 02 Remember reestablished countries Remember the color and flags of previously destroyed yet returning countries. Gameplay #07 will help with this!

Alliances
* 01 Lasting friendship After an interval of X years of an alliance, the alliance becomes increasingly harder to break.

Statistics
* 01 Add army size
* 02 Add countries destroyed Record of how many enemies a country destroyed
* 03 Add most/least corrupt
