Help
Some routers, that were not built to spec by their manufactorers, fail at Upnp punch, now these aren't all routers and the likelihood of both people having non-compliant routers is very low. The easy solution is to have your friend attempt to host.
We do not have a sever for this game, it's strictly peer to peer (like the original Warcraft) and unfortunately, some router manufacturers are not supporting Upnp punch through properly, which means those with non-spec routers cannot host games.
