Although I am also a sucker for characters with eyepatches, and characters with white hair.
I also like the dark haired guys. I just don't go for blonde much, but I think that has to do with the fact that the blonde characters are usually either the brotherly type or the flirty womanizer which are two types I don't so much go for. There are always exceptions however.
Or give me someone mentally disturbed who I have to puzzle out. Trying to understand a character is the best way for me to learn how to love them.
Love interests in games are a weird thing for me since in real life I love to be around kind, mature people who proactively engage you in conversation.
*grabs head* this questionnn
On the other side of the spectrum, I’m also a fan of the lovable sort of idiot type. I have a bit of a soft spot for them.
My favorites sometimes end up being the guys I save (okay, put off) for last because I initially find them boring or unappealing, so it's fun to see how I feel after completing everyone's routes. I tend not to compare guys from different games to each other, except as "Boyfriend Who Killed Me Repeatedly in Game 1" vs. "Boyfriend Who Killed Me Repeatedly in Game 2."
I don't think I'm a yandere-chaser, but maybe I'm a lifelong yandere-chasee. Alas, I'm resigned to my fate at this point.
Appearance wise... I'm not partial to any hair colour or such. I do like sharp, villainous eyes but no glasses please. Also, I don't like characters that look too young. Boyish is fine, looks-lika-a-12-year-old isn't. Don't like it when they're a lot older than the heroine either.
I second the last part of that. If they look too young it's super unappealing. Like Yeonho in Nameless for example. I had to play the route to unlock the true ending but I didn't really enjoy any of it. Even though he was the same age as the MC, it felt weird because he looked l2. ._.
