Game won't start

Game crashes after developer splash page displays, when I go to the .exe in steamapps/common it says GameInfo.txt is missing. Tried reinstalling, tried verifying cache, neither worked. Anyone know what's the buisiness with this business?

The corrent way to launch the 'exe' is by executing it with the "-game beginnersguide" flag from the command line. Are you running it on Windows?

Yeah, it's windows 7 64-bit

I have the exact same Problem since the update. Unfortunatly i have no solution...

Same problem here. I click on "start"...then blackscreen and back to steam. it wont start, there is no error notice, nothing :(

What do you do in the command line?

i played it like a hour, i quit now i want to turn back but i get this problem.... anybody know a solution?

Edit: I vertify the game cache, it found 3 failed files, and downloaded 16mb but it didnt solve anything.

I restarted my pc, reinstalled, validated still crashed. i bought/played it last night. now its just starting showing the logo and closing. launched it via steam both times.

Like I mentioned before up there, thats what happened to me too, i hope we get some solution to that.

I have a similar issue. My application log says...

Same problem... I played it till chapter 9, then I quit the game. Next time I wanted to start it, only black screen and then desktop.
