Does it have jumpscares/screamers?
So, i bought this game in a sale (Because its hard to not do so after playing The Stanley Parable), but i was wondering there is some screamer/jumpscare in the game i should be aware of? because if there is something i really hate in videogames is a screamer/jumpscare in a non-terror videogame.

Nothing besides sudden transitions but there is absolutely nothing programmed with the intent to scare the player, just to make them feel a certain way.

Thank you, now i can play without having the feel of a jumpscare coming.

There is one part where some theater lights come on suddenly, and they're a little bit loud (those big lights that sound like THUNK) if you're standing right next to them. I think that was the closest thing to a jumpscare in the game.

Just completed it, it was more scary having so much illumination in my computer with all the lights off :P

There's a part that seems like its a horror game, but its not.

That atmosphere does get creepy at one point but that's to set the mood, not to prepare for a jump scare.

For anyone who has problems with jumpscares (I can relate, although it's not really bad for me), there will be a level where you're asked to go on stage, prepare for the lights to turn on very suddenly with a rather loud noise. Nothing toooo bad, but I still jumped a little in my seat. If you have problems with that, just prepare for it. Actual jumpscares don't exist in this game, just as it should be.

same thing ed said, just wanted to repeat it because I jumped there too, even though it probably wasn't meant to scare.

The mood is tense sometimes but that's no reason not to experience the game imo, I'm glad that I bought it on sale but I'm very happy I played it and I wouldn't ever think of refunding it (I bet I'll play it again in 5 or so years).
