What do the 3 dots mean?
As of current I am OBSESSED with this game and I must know, what do these three dots mean? Theyre in almost every level, scattered in different places. What are they?

They are what you ask them to be..
a sybol coda uses, I mean, just like the lamppost was a symbol but actually placed by Davey, maybe the dots are just that, an handwriting..
Or just another secret, everyone want to know what they mean, the only time Davey talks about them, he is asking, too...

Don't read if you want to stick with the games story
The games aren't acually made by Coda. He's just some finctional character, Davey wrote the whole Story.. He took some aspects from Coda out of his relation ship to other people (his roommate Robin for example, maybe that's what the 'for R' stands for).. Also he put all the secrets in it.. the mystery around 'Coda'.. The Dots, the lamppost, the prison, all ideas he had.. The mapping work is done by some other guy

They represent the fact that not all symbols have a inherent meaning that can be easily understood. somethings in art might have a significance to the creator that they didn't feel the need for the viewer to understand.

It's an ellipsis. Commonly used to express something continuing unspoken, or more modernly, that someone is about to speak (Facebook Messenger uses them).
That does lead itself to an obvious conclusion.
