I play the game on switch so maybe PC players aren't running into these problems. TO give further context, I own all the original games on PC and use a glass cannon attack magic build, which consists of dumping every single possible skill point you are given into attack magic and upping your mana pool. My strat in the original games was using the base ice spell (fires 2 honing ice missiles and slows enemies, the fire meteor spell to do large AoE damage, and the base lightning spell to kill enemies resistant to the two other forms of magic.

With this, I have noticed all spells that require you to lock on to an enemy, the aforementioned ice and lightning spell, fail to cast a lot of the time despite me looking directly at a target, I'm assuming this isn't too much of a problem on the PC version, assuming it works like the original and you click on enemies, but on switch you need to be within a certain range and facing an enemy. I also noticed the ice spells description states that 2 ice honing missiles are fired yet there is only ONE and it doesn't even hone in on enemies.
