My review of the game and the glitches I've found
You're better off playing the originals. This "reawakened" aka "remaster" is riddled with bugs and glitches that make playing irksome. Furthermore, it removes much of the functionality and ui from the originals, making it an actual downgrade rather than improving on anything. And the art/graphics aren't even that much of a touch up - it's honestly disappointing: I was expecting to be able to do so much more with this game.

Glitches i've found:
Items: elven scepter doesn't give you the boosts to your charm/atk/def magic. neither does the legendary gem beastheart. There are probably other items that have the same effect that I haven't bothered to look closely at. (it might show that it changes, but it'll revert back after you close out of the ui a few times, and it won't let you use spells/items that the bonuses give you)
Magic casting: when you cast a spell and swap to another one before the spell finishes casting, it casts the one you swap to. On top of this the cast-time can be tricked in this way: if you use a spell with 1 second cast time, you can switch to another spell with longer cast time to only need 1 second to cast that spell with the glitch mentioned earlier. There's also difficulty casting spells when monsters are too close to your character - where left clicking melee attacks instead of casting the spell.
General: the character occasionally stops walking/gets stuck in a wall. The same happens to monsters, they for some reason freeze a lot, maybe this is just with the spell ringing blast.

There were a few others, but they didn't seem consistent enough for me to care to mention them.

Things I wish could've been added to this game: Mainly unretiring a character (and subsequently retiring them if we wanted, in the event an item was selected incorrectly for the retirement).

They also removed the number of spell slots you could have, so you can't learn as much magic and can only bind 6 spells to the Fkeys now, which sucks because there's so much utility in being able to swap between them quickly.
There's also no key to open the pet inventory, you can't feed your pet potions to heal them, nor can you keep a screen open and still play the game like in the original.

I've found a pretty awful one.
Books of Town Portal use multiple uses of them whenever you try to use them once. This has happened multiple times, but so far only on Traitor Soul. The first FATE game didn't have this that I've experienced, and I've yet to play Cursed King or Undiscovered Realms to confirm or deny if it's happening in them.

While the Town Portal spell completely nullifies this for my playthrough, it's still rather annoying.

In regards to the last section of your post.
You can feed your pet potions by hovering over their icon and clicking if you have healing potions in your inventory, though this doesn't work with healing charms, at least for me it doesn't.

While I do appreciate having all the games in one, there are plenty of bugs and UI changes that can be pretty damn annoying in this, and I hope they get fixed ASAP, or at the least with the UI changes, altered to be a more fluid experience.

Like no shift+click to make your pet go to merchants. Why is that not a thing when it was in the original.

Oh no, it does.

Tome Bug happens in FATE as well.
