Can't Complete Multiple Quests
I'm only on the 4th floor of the first game, and I've already had about half of my quests become unable to complete... I accepted two boss quests for a floor I've already cleared, therefore nothing spawned there when I went back. And I took on two quest to clear out X amount of enemies, and both left me with a single enemy to kill when the floor is completely cleared... I used to play this game back in the day when it was new, and I don't remember this bug ever happening,,, Am I just blinded by nostalgia or is this remaster a mess?

Not played the remaster yet, but in original Fate, if you portalled back to town from floor 4, then you would only be offered new quests for floors 5 and deeper.
When floor is cleaned not only new quests on same floor will fail next time you will be back on floor but when you walk to targets they are killed by game. You can see all red target on minimap disapearing when you approach them and becoming grayed (dead).

I hope it's bug and it will be corrected.

Because grinding on same floor doing as many quests we want it's nice feature.

I've been able to clear the floor and continue accepting quests for the same floor and it's been fine so far. Yes the red blips turn grey but if you have a hunting quest eventually the red blips should stay red for enemies that were just now spawned in when you accepted the quest. I've done it like 10 times on the same floor and it's been fine. Sometimes when it's an item fetch quest i'll enter the dungeon and the item in question is on the ground right next to me which makes me chuckle.
I just explored the 2nd level for Dimo's Nor's Quest looking for Bix to kill 4 times looking for him and got frustrated. I did explore to level 3 after trying this, though. This really needs to be mentioned in the game. I hate it when games have basic tips like "push A to jump" and don't mention things we really need to know.

Just so you know, if you've accepted a quest on the level you are on and it has been completely explored, the boss/enemies won't spawn, however all you need to do to solve this problem and finish the quest is journey back up 2 floors then proceed back down to the level you were on. The dungeon will be reset and your boss will be waiting. Hope this helps!

And just so you know...I made it to floor number 4. Then without exploring, I used a portal to go back to town. There, I accepted 3 quests (all involving killing a boss...two on floor number 4 and 1 on floor number 5. After beating the first boss of floor number 4 (who was right there in the same room. I saw more red dot enemies and killed all of them. However the second boss on floor #4 was missing. I then went to floor #5 and beat that boss. When I went back up to floor #4 to kill the 3rd boss, the red dots all grayed out and there was no boss. Something is seriously wrong with the quest system in this remake, and that is a shame, because otherwise...the game is great. Bugs as prominent as that really kill the immersion.

Oh I see, well the level directly above and below you are saved, you need to go up or down at least 2 levels and return to reset the dungeon, in any case I am sorry the game seems to be causing a bit of headache for you

As Astra said once the floor is cleared you have to go 2 floors away (usually up two and then return back down).

The one exception that I've found is that if you accept a quest for the same level as your portal for a "find an item" it usually just generates.

Strange that it works this way but thanks for your help!
The game is quite old, originally released in 2005, it's got a few quirks here and there, this version is the same game with a lovely new paint job, but because of that it retains a lot of that old quirkyness haha, I'm glad it helped, I hope you are enjoying the game so far!

The one enemy left when i'd completely cleared the floor or quest item that failed to spawn was something i would run into on the old (bought in a store on a CD) versions. Sometime's i'd see the item's tag just out of bounds for the floor's potential size. Portalling back to town and then returning sometimes fixed it; saving and exiting and then coming back in to the character usually did. That just left the issue of finding the thing when you no longer had any way to track where you'd explored yet. Mind you, that was for any quests; current floor ones weren't an option.
