Got single tower type achieve with my 3rd lvl 30 boss beaten, felt great!
I felt like i was well on a roll, at-first build felt even stronger then the second time i'd beaten the lvl 30 boss. (1st time was hanging on a thread :p )

I feel like i had a decent run, and considering the fact i stuck to a single tower for lvl30 there's probably ample room for improvement.

I'm mostly wondering if there might be "obvious" misses i might've made, despite sticking to villagers instead of outposts here (i happened to get 2 chests early and decided to get additional workers at the time).

End statistics (mainly shows banner/relics)

I kinda realised only after starting that it was already wave 39 (honestly didnt feel like it before, past playthrough past 35 felt like a way harder increase, this time this wave i hit a more sudden wall, the other playthrough i'd only-just scraped by waves 32-37 :p ).

If i want to push for 40+ are there any (semi-)obvious improvements one might spot?
In this case i happened to heavily upgrade a few tower near where the splits merge to nuke shieldbearers, most towers around that point also had 100% negated block/evasion.

Don't have all the unlocks yet (not enough honour), but guess ascencsion mode will be next?
It's kind of unclear to me if it i.e. might reward more honour to get those last unlocks done quicker... or maybe im better off doing some more normal runs for that?

cant see a lot of info from you shots.
Ive done multiple runs trying villager heavy or sacrifice heavy builds - overall theres bugger all difference late game - you either end up with more towers (villy heavy) or more banners (sacrifice). If you are going for generalist banner, the sacrifice path can help you get there faster.
You will need a fusion banner if you want to crack lvl 40 - one boss has 20 mil HP the other has 10 mil and armour. recommend focusing banners on one or two towers only if new to lvl 40 ^^, and always take right hand side of luck tree first in the uni.
Ah nice, then i think i'll try an go for a sacrifice based playthrough next, i've finally at least unlocked the last few buildings, just some towers left to go and then the more costly perks honor-wise :)

couple more tips - if you want the most turbo charged start, try and roll the carpenters saw - build all 5 general collectors in wave 0 and you will have something like +50 wood, stone and 30 gold instantly. then go +80 wood wave one and you are set up for anything. only works with sacrifice build because you don't care about the worker penalty (sacrifice from wave 5 onward).
the only caveat here is the game does this weird thing where if enemies get near the radius of the general collector it cancels out the gold collection...stupid. So you need to have a decent tower to kill everything before it gets close to your collectors. A beam tower handles this nicely for the first few waves.
If you cant roll carpenters saw and don't feel like grinding wave 10 for another reroll, go for the gold cart and +40 wood.
