Discarding weapons ?

Hello.

Is there a way to discard weapons ? Because they are only interesting at the beginning, but then become an hindrance due to their long time to recharge before striking.

I think there's an unlock to throw them, but I currently have 0 progress toward it.

The weapon throw unlock only happens once the weapon durability runs out. For now we just have to try and avoid picking up weapons.

Early in the stage it's great to get the first couple levels to get more moves, but after that pretty pointless.

Ya know... I don't even know if weapon toss works :\ at least not for me. 100% have it unlocked but it hasn't happened for 4 runs since I've unlocked it

He tosses it when it's consumed. But since they are all melee, you don't notice the throw. It's basically one more hit with the weapon, it just looks different. Some of them even do less damage when thrown.
