Just in case anyone comes here to check, it used to support VR, which is confusing because a lot of people online recommend the game. It's still a great game, just not sure it's worth it for you now.

The VR feature is exclusive to the Oculus platform. If you buy this on the Oculus store its in VR. Also the leaderboards are behind FB servers which is why those dont work on the Steam version as well.

With the Oculus moving to "Meta" are there any plans to allow VR through Steam again? I am unable to log into my Oculus account after Meta fudged things up so I can't play this game in VR regardless of how many copies I own.

Still hoping for a steamvr update now the PCVR side of oculus / meta was killed just seems a shame. Seems unlikely it would be an exclusivity issue when its been 5 years and a bunch of oculus PC exclusives have made their way to Steam since they shifted to a stand alone focus.

It's kind of crazy these games work so well in VR yet no ones really made a better top down vr racer.

Due to technical difficulties, support for the game on Linux and Mac systems will be discontinued and the SteamVR version will also become unavailable.

Unfortunately, downloading and running BlazeRush on Linux, Mac and SteamVR will soon be impossible.

Nonsense of course, game will run on Linux via Proton, but the other bits are RIP.

Just played a moment ago using my usual Steam BlazeRush game and Quest2 with Airlink (no idea if connecting by cable also works). There is at least one other discussion thread about how to get the VR to start. I played one match of BlazeBowl in VR and this was pretty neat!
