Eternal Connecting to Lobby on Private Lobby

ive been trying to play with friends for half an hour now and i cant load into the lobby. im simply stuck at the "Connecting to lobby" screen after typing in the password. the bar below it will move as it does for like 30 seconds then stops. no error codes or anything. just, Connecting to Lobby.

Be sure to have Firewall and Antivirus permission,
also try to turn on / off UPNP inside the networking settings menu.
