è un capolavoro estremamente sottovalutato,una combinazione perfetta dei generi azione,storico,combattimento e storia ben curata
Parlando di storia, è veramente breve(la mia run di 6 ore l ho finita tra la sera e la mattina del giorno dopo) ma ti prende fin da subito,non ci sono momenti morti,scorre molto bene e i personaggi sono ben scritti soprattutto il protagonista Marius è un figo maschio alfa assurdo
Il gameplay è incentrato sul cinematico,i combattimenti sono veramente belli da vedere e pure da fare,fluidi,senza nessun bug notevole e le esecuzioni di Marius ti fanno rizzare lo strumento
Non ho idea di come nel 2013(uscito originariamente con il lancio di Xbox One,il porting su PC ovviamente l anno dopo) abbiano tirato fuori questa grafica ma è semplicemente fantastica,sembra uscito al massimo 4-5 anni fa,non 12 ed è pure molto ben ottimizzato
Per me vale pure il prezzo intero ma ovviamente prenderlo in sconto non fa schifo a nessuno
Se sei indeciso se comprarlo o no fidati di me e provalo,tanto prima delle 2 ore di tempo massimo per il rimborso sei già quasi a mentà storia e molto probabilmente ti piace e te lo finisci

uno degli stili di combattimento piu belli che abbia mai visto

gioco molto bello per la storia ma le mosse nei combattimenti sono sempre le stesse e può risultare noioso, ma acquistandolo al prezzo scontato vale sicuramente la pena provarlo.

Questo gioco l'ho provato ed apprezzato tantissimo nel 2013 quando uscì come esclusiva per la nuova console di Microsoft Xbox One e mi colpì particolarmente per il gameplay e la grafica davvero eccellente per il tempo. A distanza di 11 anni lo sto rigiocando qui su Steam e devo dire che questo gioco i suoi anni se li porta davvero bene, il gameplay è ancora attuale e soddisfacente e persino la grafica considerando la sua età è davvero ancora molto apprezzabile. Visto anche il prezzo a cui viene proposto penso che questo sia davvero uno di quei giochi da avere e giocare, considerando anche il completo doppiaggio del gioco in lingua italiana (cosa ormai purtroppo rara al giorno d'oggi). Consigliatissimo, e mi ripeto: da provare e da avere assolutamente.

Trovo davvero incredibile che un gioco del 2013 come questo sia invecchiato talmente bene... l'ho giocato solo adesso nel 2025 e vi posso garantire che ha ben poco da invidiare ad altri colossi più recenti del Gaming... beh che dire... ottimizzato egregiamente considerando il comparto grafico per l'epoca anche quando uscì sull'Xbox One all'epoca, il gioco però è programmato abbastanza male e sulle build di PC più recenti presenta enormi problemi di Struttering e cali di Frame rate da 60 a 24 e non è un problema prestazionale del PC ma del gioco stesso, per risolvere il problema, dovete recarvi nel Pannello di controllo di Nvidia o AMD e impostare la Modalità a bassa latenza su ''ULTRA'' in questo modo dopo che avrete riavviato, il gioco girerà come effettivamente deve girare... mai un calo di Frame per il resto della partita... ripeto questo problema si presenta solo con Build Abbastanza Potenti e recenti già dalle serie 1000 e 900 ecco... detto ciò la trama invece è focalizzata solo sulla guerra ma ci sono dei personaggi che davvero catturano l'attenzione e la trama si lascia seguire con piacere, il gameplay Molto soddisfacente, sembra un misto tra God of War e Batman Arkham Knight, una pecca è sicuramente il Gameplay semplice e ripetitivo e sicuramente il fatto che i nemici siano sempre uguali tra di loro, spezza un pò l'immersione, ma nonostante ciò l'ho apprezzato ugualmente, consigliatissimo, specialmente per chi è amante degli Action Adventure

Più uno showcase grafico che un action vero e proprio, Ryse è bello da vedere anche dopo anni dalla sua uscita. Cutscene troppo lunghe e troppo invasive ne limitano le potenzialità che in quanto a combat system non sono niente male. Spesso e a torto massacrato da giudizi negativi ingiusti, merita una riscoperta, oltretutto ormai si trova a pochi spiccioli. Un giro lo merita sicuramente.

I first played Ryse: Son of Rome when it released on Xbox over 11 almost 12 years ago, and Im roughly just over 50% of the way to complete it on steam now too, it’s still an exceptional experience. Even after more than a decade, this game remains a shining example of what great design, storytelling, and action can achieve.

The world of ancient Rome feels alive and immersive, and it’s easy to get lost in the stunningly crafted arenas, majestic architecture, and atmospheric settings. The cinematic presentation is on another level, with the story unfolding like a thrilling, interactive movie.

Granted, of course the Graphics arent impecable anymore, but they are still amazing over a decade later, The combat mechanics, which are a core part of the game, are just as satisfying now as they were back then. while the finishing moves remain as brutal and satisfying as ever. The game may not offer the same level of depth in terms of gameplay variety as others in the genre, but it makes up for that with intensity and cinematic quality.

The story itself is gripping and emotional, centering around Marius Titus, a soldier driven by vengeance and honor. The narrative, which combines personal vendetta with larger historical events, does a great job of immersing you in the Roman Empire’s world.

Replaying Ryse: Son of Rome on PC has been more than just a nostalgia trip, it’s reaffirmed that this game still holds up in every aspect a game should. It’s a cinematic, action-packed journey with impressive visuals, tight combat, and a compelling story. If you haven’t played it yet, or if it’s been a while, I highly recommend revisiting it. It remains one of the best action games that captures the essence of ancient Rome in such an unforgettable way.

I truly cant wait to continue playing and completing the story yet again on PC, i usually state remasters can be a quick cash grab for studios, but considering this game is almost 12 years old, im highly believing myself its deserving of a remaster, or a graphic overhaul atleast, Maybe one better, a sequel or possibly a spin off that takes everything this game does perfectly with a new implemented story, Maybe even one within a different era.

The mechanics of Brutal finishing moves continue to impress me, the more i play through the story again, i highly recommend playing this game, or revisiting it if you have already played it years ago.

the story is great and the executions are very brutal. the graphics hold up amazing for a 2014 game. the only downside is the multiplayer is dead so you better have friends if you want to play it.

Loved it. This is one of the only games that I would play through multiple times and I have. It's such a shame that there isn't a sequel because this game is an amazing starting point and they could really improve in the sequels. It is a little gimmicky (I think that's the word): enemies are easy to kill, even on legendary difficulties, though that may be because I've played it so much, and stronger ones just have you do a specific thing such as dodge and attack or block a series of attacks. In conclusion, great game, play it, love it, live it and beg for a sequel.
