This. You have a bunch of turds that didn't get free stuff bad mouthing it where the consumer actually appreciated what they received for the money. Not to mention the already flawed concept behind Metacritic in that it grabs specific reviewers... but not the same ones for all products. Therefore if say IGN hates strategy games, but their reviews get pulled for a strategy game... the score will always be lower.
Metacritic is garbage. I NEVER once bought a game or passed on one because of that score.
