But, yeah, deflect and evade are your friends. Either that, or maintain your assault with stategically timed strikes.
You shouldn't be button mashing. Just block then attack. Most are one after the other. If you're getting a really low frame rate then that might be why it's not responding in time.
If so, you should have Vsync off so it's more responsive.
Yeah, I gave up last night while fighting the 4th or 5th boss. He cheats and then I am toast.
It is really important to learn block and evade correctly. I am still learning perfect blocks and the traps feel like total luck.
For reference, I see no struggle (CPU or GPU) on my i7-3770k and R9-280x - neither overclocked. I even played 1/2 of the time with steam-stream to a laptop (AC wifi).
omg the second last level end fight is stupid.
That's exactly it. If the enemy is red, they are doing a power attack - blocking won't cut it here, you need to evade the attack.
There was a thread on a fix for low FPS, it's here somewhere, the fix is to have Origin running while playing. Helped a lot of people, no idea why.
I don't think this is really true. I have "accidentally" perfect blocked a red / power attack as I was bashing the buttons and was surrounded.
Again, I can't do that on demand and I find it really annoying that commands "queue" up so if you are blocking an incoming attack from the guy on the right and then see the raging guy on the left is red you are hit.
I just read on their Wiki - I was wrong. You can block red attacks, but it has to be a 'perfect' block to work. (whereas a non-perfect block will work on a normal attack)
