This is way better pn PC than xbox

Has anyone else laughed his butt off when he heard that RYSE comes out on Steam?

Here's why:

Ryse - Son of Rome was THE ONE xbox launch title. Seriously. At the time it came out, it was the ONE truly next-gen game available.

Now, because the studio Crytek is bankrupt, they ported it to PC to make some more money off the game. And at PC it runs _way_better_graphics!

So basically, what we have here is a techdemo of the cryengine, optimized for XBOX, to show of their new shiny hardware. And boom - half a year later - it comes out on PC and it makes the XBOX look like a turd! :-D ROFL!!!

I mean they sold that dinosaur Xbox 360 up until last year, that thing was a DECADE old, released in 2005. And now the thing they sell as "new" is not only weaker than its competitor PS4, but also an exclusive game, optimized especially for that hardware, looks better on _other_ hardware.

Thank you Steam for bringing an awesome violent game in a roman setting! Love it! I already preordered.

We also get all extra packs (that are DLC in XBOX) already integrated in the PC-Version! Amazing!

I have never understood why anyone will buy a console.

Compare:

XBOX: (1.600 x 900 Pixel and SMAA-1Tx-Antialiasing)
PC: (3.840 x 2.160 Pixel and Supersampling-Antialiasing)

The game of the year pc is Ryse son of rome, which is more expected and already preordered

Difference looks pretty minor aside from the pc contrast looking a bit weird :-/

The lighting is way better I think. You can really see it at the armor. Xbox looks like it's glowing from inside, altough it's more shiny, but less realistic.

People hate the game a lot, but I look forward to it, cause a ancient roman battlefield is an epic setting for a game! ^^

Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to this - I was going to get an xbone when it was announced, but then the Japan release got pushed waaaay back until just 4 weeks ago lol

By that time, PC version was announced and saved me a nice amount of cash!

It might just be the Gamespot video player, but I think they look pretty similar (both very beautiful games!)

Similarly for us in India Xbox One launched last week and I would have actually bought it for this game and DR3 if it had launched last year :) Poor Microsoft has only been able to sell around 200 units of Xbox one here upto now since launch!!!

PC does look better but it isnt as huge of a difference as i had hoped for. Still a very good looking game though. just seems a but sharper on PC than xbox and thats about it. textures look a lil better and less blur in general. hopefully the difference will be in the higher resolution and just overall better performance at a stable Framerate.
