What is the co-op experience?

Does this game provide the main campaign as co-op or is it something entirely different?

It's a gladiator style combat arena, with a friend. Not campaign co op unfortunately. I played it on the xbox one, was good fun. :)

According to MR BUGGLES, he is correct. There will be no Co-Op campaign experience, instead there is arena mode (horde mode) where you can fight waves of enemies, bosses, etc. I heard it's pretty fun especially with a buddy, so I am looking forward to that very much.

I enjoyd the coop on x box one, a lot of arenas with different missions, you can earn money to buy better equipment, choose different gods, each with own special attacks, is pretty fun.

The Campaign where you play as Marius is strictly singleplayer. There is a separate Co-Op Colosseum Mode (some maps can also be played Solo).

No, the multiplayer mode is strictly Co-Op for two players.

How many maps are there in the Colosseum Mode?

Not sure off the top of my head, but should be around 24 or so (since the DLC is included).

It´s a pity no coop for the campaign, it would be really great.
To the developers, is it still possible?
