Customize key bindings?
Hi,

Any devs out there who can tell if its going to be possible to customize all the key bindings?

Should be standard year 2014...

Yeah, i'm looking for the same thing :| I can't believe i can just cycle between 3 presets. This game smells of consoles miles away.

just, run the game for the first time....ok, nice with quite a lot of graphics settings + latest Maxwell cards DSR ( happy to have MSI 980 ) but....

I CAN'T DO MY OWN KEY BINDING o_0 ...IN 2014 AND NOT A SIMPLE PORT AS THE DEVS WERE SAYING

i can see that dev is looking around here for us....thanks Crytek, could you sort it out please ?

maybe someone was able to find config file and that would sort it out but looks like it's implemented in game itself not simple .cfg trick ?
i was trying to look in My Documents etc. but no luck...

Dammit, they should put a warning that the keys mapping is not customizable ON THE STORE PAGE.
I swear their sales numbers would be FAR lower if they did. And if so, does this not qualify as false advertising, or failing to inform prospective customers?

If the Steam Store page had a warning, I know *I* wouldn't have wasted my money on this.


That said, the open-source application Autohotkey will work to remap your keys, if needed.

the lack of key customization is absolutely a big oversight (esp for me because I like to use szxc for movement instead of wasd), but even with that, the presets are quite workable.

I have to agree with everyone here. I was loving everything about this game till I decided to change keys to normal PC bindings.

Very poor decision. Needs to be remedied in a patch ASAP!
