How to fix persistent crashes and freezing
To fix Ryse Son of Rome crashing and freezing, go to root directory, open system.cfg and add the following line:

sys_spec_TextureResolution=X

X is standing for the following numbers:

0 = Automatic detection
1 = Low (1.0 GB VRAM)
2 = Medium (1.5 GB VRAM)
3 = High (2.0 GB VRAM)
4 = Very High (3.0 GB VRAM)

If you have a 4 GB VRAM card like I do, just put it on 4. This worked for me, before i couldn't play a full minute without crashes, now I can play the game just fine. Prove below, video couldn't be this long if it wasn't actually fixed.

For anyone else having this issue: the posted solution didn't work for me, but downgrading earlier catalyst drivers did. I used 15.11.1beta, but probably others work too.
