Will there ever be a Ryse 2?
I played this game a long time ago and it just came back to my mind all of the sudden.

I really liked this game, despite the repetitive combat, it's only real flaws to me were the short story and the not very fun multiplayer, things that can be changed.

The game has lots of potential, and its graphic quality and cinematics are still fantastic despite the game being almost 10 years old, will there ever be a new Ryse?

Definitely, with an improved arena mode and gladiator customization. Although, what I really want is a game like Colosseum: Road to Freedom
Never played "Colosseum: Road to Freedom" it sounds good though

Why not Ryse 2: Boudicea? She's already in the game, after all.
I'm going to assume that you haven't finished the story yet

Yeah it looks like the store page is wrong, Crytek is just the developer, not the publisher. Microsoft are the publisher. Crytek themselves have no interest in making a sequel due to poor sales of this game when it launched on Xbox One.

I have played the game before and started another play through on my Xbox Series X. Alas, it's capped at 1080p. Which as you can imagine, looks pretty horrible on a 55 inch 4k tv.

Good job I have the Steam version as well.

It’s probably on hold for now. But this game does have the potential for a sequel/prequel. Ryse 2 was rumored a while ago to be in development.
