Slow performance
Anybody have issues with how this game's running? I have i5 7400 and GTX1060 6GB but fps in this game drop from 80 to 30 and back. Even when I have 80 fps it looks like it's 30 fps instead. Also whole game runs sometimes like it was in slowmotion. Really odd problem.

You need to enter steam-steamapps-common-Ryse Son of Rome
And then you need to open a file Named system
Open the file system with Notepad
Bellow sys_localization_folder=Localization
Write sys_spec_textureresolution= 2
(((If not fixed add the following underneath)))
sys_highrestimer=1

In options in-game:
Turn off Supersampling
Turn off VSYNC
Turn off lock FPS

Stutters should cease.

Disable v-sync. When I enable v-sync, I have 30fps constantly.

I have 1080 Ti + i7 8700K overclocked and this game lags AF with the lowest graphics settings

I managed to run it better launching Origins in the background and it helped me to finish this game with at least good performance. Though it still had a huuuge problem with keeping my fps over 80 all the time. It dropped sometimes even to 20 fps. This game is a giant disaster when it comes to optimisation.

The game itself is a portable from console, so we can't expect optimization, I guess.

You're right. Still they could make it more playable.

It's a new gpu / driver issue, people with old cheap gpu had no issue, I asked for a refund.

Drop the textures to medium and it will be smooth, check the guides to see how.

I already finished it. It worked in about 100 fps with some drops to 30 but maybe it will helpful to other people :)
