Ryse son of Rome graphics 60fps
I'm new to PC gaming and I recently bought a gaming laptop with 1050 Ti. Although I can't figure out the best settings in the control panel. Whenever I run this game its always 30fps or lower. I can't figure out how to run it in 60fps. I tried the strategy by someone else on Steam but still the same frame rates. All I want is the game to run smooth and no tears or lags whenever the subtitles or gameplay texts come on. thank you.

You also need to turn off FPS LOCKED in the options, if that is on the game is locked to 30 FPS like the console version.

I'll try that. thanks. What about the adjustments in the Nvidia Control Panel? should I let the 3d application decide or use the 3d settings?

The game isn't super well optimised and certain locations will be much more taxing on your GPU meaning your frame rate will probably vary quite a bit throughout the game. It still looks great even on lowest settings so just put it to lowest with FPS lock off like Ogami said and go from there. I'd probably just leave the Nvidia control panel on its default.
I got a gtx 1080 gpu and i still can't get a consistant 60 fps on max settings with supersampling off.

I have just revisited this title, intending to actually finish it. I have a 1080Ti, and was finding the framerate atrocious as well, with constant dips under 60fps at 1440p resolution accompanied by microstutter.

I looked online and saw people were saying to run Origin in the background as it would massively increase performance. (Yes, Origin; EA's gaming platform.)

It sounded like nonsense, but I figured I would try, and guess what? It worked wonders! I'm now constantly over 100 fps and the game is very smooth for the most part. GPU utilisation went up about 40-50%.

So if you haven't tried that, I highly recommend giving it a go, night and day difference for me.

Hi, Folks! this game runs for me in 60 FPS only when it starts, after around 5 min it's drops to 27-30 FPS!

Someone knows why it happens and how to fix it?

Most likely explanation is that your video card or cpu is overheating.

Turn off Supersampling or set it to '1.5x1.5' if you have a beefy card/specs, disable FPS lock and enable Vsync; you'll get solid 60 FPS
