Game Menu
Why does the game switch to a more controller based interface. There are almost no game options on the menu compared to the interface that originally appeared when I first loaded the game?

Do you have a screenshot of how different the game looks? I've only played with m+kb.

Off the top of my head; Have you unplugged your controller, restarted the game and or reinstalled it? (maybe there was something saved in your local files when you first started the game that set it up as one set up and somehow you switched it to another) - Not sure on the last part, just throwing quick ideas out there.

Unplugging the controller does not fix it, i have to verify the game files each time, its madness

Think I might have sorted it out, there is a file called gamedata.pak that seems to get deellted for some reason, with this file missing the gmae runs with these odd menus, and missing enemies on the maps, you verify and once the file is replaced the menu works as expected. I have now made the file read only and hidden, rebooted a few times, and the game seems to be behaving. Strange.

Sorry, the above does not fix it, how can this game still be so buggy, with no support at all?

Really cool video, I never knew that layout even exsisted as I've never played it on console or knew there was a 'console mode. I've looked for any fixes online and came up short handed, however I'm really surpised at the lack of support for this issue. (I've seen it posted on a few threads with zero solution.)


For what it's worth, nice job on your youtube channel, you have a good handful of videos worth watching.
