Does this game play well with keyboard and mouse?
Thanks in advance.

Apparently we couldn't rebind keys? Has this been fixed?

Playing with keyboard and mouse is great. I like it so much that I dont need to rebind.

That's great, but COULD the keys be rebind?

I tried controller as well as kb/m and ultimately preferred kb/m because of better camera control. Also, imo fighting is easier because with a controller you have to manage the four most important battle moves (sword, shield, deflect, evade) all with your right thumb, on kb/m it's divided between both hands, which I prefer.

ps: Keys can not be rebind

Still can't eh? And no .ini files to edit either eh? Well this sucks. I don't want to press F to sprint, I'd much rather assign it to Alt or Ctrl. Because what if I want to straft to right and sprint at the same time? My finger cannot press D and F at the same time.

Press F and move the mouse where you want to go. If you would like to strave to the left you always can roll to it.

Wait, so the F (sprint) key ALONE makes you run forward? If that's the case, I'm OK with it-----much like you said, simply hold F then use mouse to orient.

I thought one needs to press WSAD ***AND*** F in order to print to any directions.

You still need to press W, but its managable to press w and f at the same time , then you can use the mouse to orientate.

Make sense, thanks man. I look forward to trying this out.

It may seem like a problem that one's not able to rebind the keys, though they did pretty well by assigning them in the first place.
I for example didn't even felt the urge to actually try and rebind the keys (usually I do, if I prefer my custon setup) because they're good. In my opinion.

By the way, regarding your ini question & just for future reference you can use such sites, providing you all the info you need: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Ryse:_Son_of_Rome#Configuration_file.28s.29_location
For example, it says: Configuration file(s) location <path-to-game>\system.cfg
Which means you MAY be able to change some settings via the system.cfg, though not sure about that.

VERY helpful. Thank you very much sir.

But in the end I've decided not to get this game, as the reviews I've read suggest the game is extremely repetitive and rather short.
