4-5 hours long.
It's a very short game.

Well it's 4-5 hours if you run through it as fast as you can. I think Crytek could defintely have made it longer, but most of their focus was on the MP. Most players average around 9 hours in the game. Speed demons who rip through it as fast as they possibly can could finish it in 3. Those who like to explore and take their time average around 20 hours.


There's a site called 'Game Lengths' that aggregates play times submitted by people who have played through games and post their times. Ryse had an average of 9, fastest of 3 and slowest of 21.

20 hours? they must move at a snails pace

took me 5 hours on highest difficulty, it is very linear and the story is pretty weak. Shadow of rome is a much better game in my opinion if you fancy something roman

Co-op is where the meat of the game is. You could spend dozens of hours in it and still not be fully satisifed. It is superb!

I've finished it now. I took 10 hours but around 1 of those hours is time spent running around exploring looking for collectibles. Very fun SP campaign, the story narratve was like an interactive movie. Will play through it again soon and then launch out into the MP Gladiator mode.
