[!!!] SOUNDFIX (easy and fully explained explained)

this fix is for those who have issues with a) the sound in movies b) the sound when clicking on items etc.
a) download ffdshow: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/ install it and bam.. there is the sound right at the intro movie
b) https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8iyv1fbfVr3ODR3MUVpYmdfZkk&usp=sharing
-run: RSXSETUP.exe (as admin!!) and install it
-run: RSX DLL fix.bat OR RSX x64 DLL fix bat depending on your system (IMPORTANT: run as admin!)

my OVERSEER.exe settings are on "Windows 95", run as admin;

I have Windows 7 64-bit

http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/ is what i downloaded and got the game running fine no crash no problems running on windows8 other then useing ffdshow to make mpeg2 work allso i didnt have to make any stupud edits anywere just installed the game installed ffdshow(clicked on video section found mpeg2 clicked it on wam game runs fine) no nonsence

I've got as far as getting the RSX to work and play the speaker test but now when I go into Tex the video works but no sound even with the drivers installed :(

Hi Started out no music and movies worked fine installed (Reluctantly ) ffdshowtryout and applyed the intel fix 64 for my win 7 64 bit lost sound in the movies but all else is working othe than i need to hit esc at the end of all movies
any ideas?

There is no Admin choise in the file I uploaded, I found something called "Extrahera" in Swedish ("extract" in English maybe?)

Post at the top of the page is how I fixed it, but that was running win 7 don't know if it will run on a later machine.
to be honest I'd have thought they would have patched it by now, or at least included it with the download.
part of the original solution was to run overseer.exe as admin I seem to think that helped some of the problem, but there was an issue with the mouse in win 7 which that may have been the fix for also there is /was a compatibility mode in win 7 for legacy programs you might try that or try running in a virtual machine, you will need to look that up on the internet as it aint no beginners task.

Hi Did you first try http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/ first post on this subject, unfortunately I don't know of any mirror sites ill have a rat around my computer and see if I can find the original file Ill get back to you
