Get all codecs installed, they are not all selected on default.
When starting Overseer the ffdshow pop up will come, this could crash overseer.
I selected use ffdshow always (dont´show again).
Next time you start overseer the pop up will not come and the game won´t crash.

And this: (For RXS-3D Error)
In this fix there are 4 files, the RSX 3D Audio installer, two batch files for registering the DLL files, and a registry key.
one batch file and the reg key are for x64 windows.

I tried the beta-fix, but that didn't solved the sound issue
but the RSX-fix from SickB did it for me! (win7/64)
and now even the text is readable... great ;)

I originally had issues with video and sound, then installed ffdshow which got the video working, but still have no sound. I've signed up for the RSXfix beta but unfortunately thats not working for me. Any other workarounds/fixes would be hugely appreciated :)

The game itself did run for the most people with the already known fixes. One problem all together have (me included) is the on screen text when clicking something dissapears after a split second.

where do you install the audio files for the rsx 3d files i have windows 7 64 bit i downloaded the files but don't know what to do with them

Saleck included a Patch in the game itself. Just right click the Game in your Steam Lib. Click on the Tab "Beta" and take the beta fix, it installes automatic.

nothing worked for me not even the beta fix i installed the rsx audio fix and still no audio i am on windows 7 64bit

i got this from gog and i couldent get it to work so i posted in steam and got help from a super guy called sbenrap .. thing is i had audio no video .. he gave me a link that my virus protecion didnt detect any problems with called ffdshow its got video and audio codacs http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/ when u open it u get option to open audio or video (for me it was just matter of going into video and selecting from the list on the right mpeg2 and changed from disabled to the only option avalable) and hay presto game worked fine audio and video ... so maybe give this a try and go into the audio part and look for the codac you need if its there (hope it is) and i hope it works .... wierdly the only game im haveing problems with is lesure suit larry 7 love for sail xD

can I ask you about the magnifying glass. Just drag it to the item do not click on it as this does nothing

If the magnifying glass isnt working when you click on an object you need to use the RXS patch mentioned above then it will work
